FAQ’s
What time is check in/out?
Check-in time is 12pm, Check-out time is 11am. However, if
you’re arriving early or leaving late, the hotel will
happily look after luggage at reception.
Is the hotel easy to reach?
Yes, Rome is well served with transport to and from the airport
and railway station (Termini) as well as the subway (Metro),
buses and taxis within the city.
How do we get to the Adriatic from
the main railway station (Termini)?
The easiest and most convenient way (particularly for those
with luggage) is by taxi which should cost €10 -15).
Alternatively, the Metro can be utilised from Termini to either
Lepanto or Ottaviano stops followed by a 5-10 minute walk
to the hotel.
Is the location of the Hotel Adriatic
convenient for public transport?
Yes, Lepanto and Ottaviano (both Line A) Metro stations are
in closest proximity to the Adriatic hotel and are cheap and
easy to use, travelling close by most of Rome’s top
attractions. Alternatively take bus No.40 to its last stop
followed by a 10 minute walk approx.
Does the hotel have air-conditioning?
Yes, although the individual room costs is €10 daily
rate paid directly to the hotel.
Is breakfast provided at the hotel?
We regret that we do not provide a breakfasting service and
operate on a room-only basis. However, there are several cafes
opposite the hotel in which breakfast can be taken and many
more within the vicinity.
Do the rooms have balconies or
terraces?
Yes, some of our rooms do, and the Hotel Adriatic also has
the benefit of a roof-garden where guests can relax and enjoy
a fantastic view over the city.
Is the Adriatic centrally located?
The Adriatic is situated in the St Peter’s district
of Rome, just 5 minutes walk from St Peter’s Square
and the Vatican. Most of Rome’s other major sights are
easily reachable either on foot ( Piazza Navona, the Spanish
Steps and the Trevi Fountain are all within relatively easy
walking distance across the River Tiber) or alternatively
by Rome’s underground (Metro) system.
Does the Hotel Adriatic provide
a 24 hour reception?
Yes we do.
Where is the nearest airport?
Fiumicino (Leonardo da Vinci) and Ciampino are both approx.
30km in either direction.
Does the hotel offer car-parking
availability?
No, although there is public parking approx. 200 metres from
the hotel
Does the hotel have a restaurant?
No, sorry, though restaurants are plentiful around the vicinity
of the Adriatic and beyond.
Is the Adriatic close by the main
shopping areas?
Via ‘Cola di Rienzo’ is a main thoroughfare and
shopping area only 5 minutes walk from the hotel and has a
daily indoor food market as well as all the main chain stores
and smaller exclusive boutiques.
